Information stored on your device
Your estimated due date and checklist selections are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. Kick counter and contraction timer sessions are held only while the relevant screen is in use. None of this information is transmitted to Approtic or another party.
Permissions
BumpBloom does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts, health sensor, Health Connect or notification permissions.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on the device until you change it, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Because Approtic does not receive this data, we cannot access or delete it remotely.
Health information
BumpBloom provides general educational and organizational information. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or emergency services. Seek advice from a qualified maternity care professional for questions about your pregnancy.
Children
BumpBloom is intended for adults managing a pregnancy journey and is not directed to children under 13.
Security
Data is stored in Android's private application storage. No method of local storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, and users should protect access to their device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated.
